HELLO THERE!
I’m a Simi Valley photographer creating thoughtful, artful portraits throughout Ventura County, Malibu, Los Angeles, and beyond.
I photograph people in all different seasons of life. Seniors stepping into what comes next. Families growing and changing. Kids becoming more themselves by the day. Performers building portfolios. Couples, creatives, and anyone who wants photographs that feel like more than simply standing in front of a camera.
I’m drawn to beautiful light, interesting places, rich color, movement, and the little moments that make an image feel alive.
More than anything, I want your photographs to feel like you.
Beautiful photographs begin long before I pick up my camera.
One of my favorite parts of what I do is creating the vision with you.
We might begin with a location you love, a dress you have been waiting for an excuse to wear, the personality of your senior, the way your family actually interacts, or simply a feeling you want the photographs to have.
From there, I help with wardrobe, location, styling, timing, and all of the little details that bring everything together.
You do not need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. You do not need to walk into your session knowing exactly what you want.
That is my job.
I will guide you when you need direction, give you room when something beautiful is happening naturally, and pay attention to the moments in between.
The result is a gallery that feels polished and intentional, but never overly posed.
Nearly 20 years behind the camera has taught me something important.
People remember how photographs make them feel.
Yes, I want you to have the frame worthy portrait where everyone looks incredible.
But I also want the laugh that happened immediately afterward. The way your daughter tucked herself into your shoulder. Your senior looking completely like themselves. The movement of a dress in the wind. The expression you could never have planned.
Those are often the photographs that become favorites.
I have been photographing people since 2004, and over the years my work has continued to evolve, but that part has never changed.
I want to create something beautiful without losing the person inside the photograph.
A background that taught me how to work with people.
Before photography became my full time creative world, I spent approximately 15 years working in the entertainment industry as a set mom.
I spent years around working actors, productions, auditions, casting, long shoot days, and all of the organized chaos that happens behind the scenes.
That experience taught me far more than how the entertainment industry works.
It taught me how to connect with kids and teens. How to read people. How to give direction without making someone feel uncomfortable. How to work quickly when I need to and slow things down when I do not.
It also gave me a deep understanding of performers and the importance of creating images that show personality, range, and individuality.
Today I bring that experience into every kind of session I photograph, whether I am working with a five year old, a graduating senior, an entire family, a dancer, or a professional actor.
And sometimes, I just want to create art.
Some of my favorite work begins with a completely unnecessary idea.
A beautiful dress.
A strange location.
A dancer in a place you would never expect to find one.
A concept that exists simply because I want to see what happens when we bring it to life.
Editorial work has become a huge part of what inspires me creatively. It gives me space to experiment with fashion, movement, storytelling, light, and incredible creative teams.
That creativity comes back into my client work too.
It is why I am always looking at a location a little differently, thinking about how wardrobe will move, chasing interesting light, or finding a way to make a familiar place feel completely new.
What you can expect
Thoughtful planning
We will talk about what you are drawn to, what you want your photographs to feel like, where we should shoot, and what you should wear. You will never be handed an address and left to figure out the rest.
Plenty of direction
You do not have to be comfortable in front of a camera before you arrive. I will help with posing, movement, hands, angles, and all of those little things people tend to worry about.
Room for real moments
Not everything needs to be perfectly planned. Some of the best photographs happen when everyone forgets about me for a second. I always leave room for those moments too.

How do I book a session?
Booking is simple. Reach out through our website, email, or phone to share your needs, ask questions, and check availability. A deposit is required to reserve your date.

What should I wear for my photoshoot?
Choose outfits that feel polished, comfortable, and true to your style. Solid colors, clean lines, and coordinated tones often photograph well and help keep the focus on you and your brand.

How long does a photoshoot take?
Session length depends on the project. Shorter portrait sessions may take about 45 minutes to an hour, while larger photography projects can take several hours.

When will I receive my photos?
We take time to edit each gallery carefully so your final images meet our quality standards. Most sessions are delivered within 2-3 weeks, while larger projects may take up to 6 weeks.

Do you offer prints or just digital images?
We offer both digital images and professional print options, including albums and wall art, so you can showcase your photography in the way that works best for you.

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session?
If weather affects your outdoor session, we’ll work with you to reschedule or move the session indoors when possible. We always aim to choose the best solution together.
