Danielle - Boho Beach Portrait Session

This session ended up becoming the start of something I didn't quite see coming.

Danielle and I headed to Malibu with a beautiful set from The Boho Shed and let the beach do its thing. The wind was wild, the fabric was moving everywhere, and instead of trying to control any of it, we leaned into it.

And I loved what happened.

The movement, the texture and a little bit of drama gave these portraits a completely different feel. It was beautiful without feeling too perfect, and it pushed me creatively in a direction I wanted to explore more.

Not long after this session, The Boho Shed began sending me pieces to photograph, and that opened the door to a summer filled with creative shoots, beautiful wardrobe and some really fun collaborations.

Looking back, this feels a little like where that summer of creativity began.

And I'm very glad it did.
