Layla’s senior session gave us two completely different settings in Ojai, and the bookstore was such a fun place to start.

I loved getting creative with this part of her session. We photographed between the shelves, surrounded by stacks of books, and used all of the little corners and details of the shop to create something that felt completely different from a traditional senior session. Even better, the setting fit Layla’s personality so perfectly. It felt like her.

Then we headed outdoors to an open field for a completely different look. The natural setting and evening light gave us a softer finish to the session and such a beautiful contrast from the creativity of the bookstore.

Layla graduated from Royal High School and is headed to UCLA for her next chapter.
