Ballie's Senior Season with Dance Head Shots in Simi Valley and Camarillo, California

Ballie’s senior year included three different sessions, each with a completely different look.

We started in the studio with updated dance focused headshots for the audition season ahead. Ballie was auditioning for several college dance teams, so having current headshots ready to use throughout the audition process was especially important. We also worked in a few movement shots while she was there, giving her a mix of clean headshots and dance images from the same session.

Next, we headed outdoors to a flower field in Simi Valley for a completely different look.

This part of the session was softer and more relaxed, with open space, natural light, and the flowers adding color and texture around her. It gave Ballie a second set of senior portraits that felt completely different from the clean studio headshots and dance images.

A few weeks later, we photographed Ballie’s full senior session in Camarillo, using the bridge, open fields, flowers, creek, and gorgeous evening light for one final completely different look.

Ballie graduated from Westlake High School and is headed to USC this fall. Not long after her final senior session, she found out she had made the USC Song Leaders, such an exciting next chapter after everything she worked toward during audition season.
